Cabernet-Shiraz Penfolds/Ultra Bin 8 is a red wine made from the Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz grape varieties from different regions and vineyards of Australia. This wine is inspired by the famous Bin 389, known as the "baby Grange", and is made following the traditional style and quality of Penfolds.
The wine is fermented and matured for 12 months in American (22% new) and French (6% new) oak barrels. This gives it complexity, structure and elegance, without losing the fruitiness and intensity of the grapes. The wine has aromas of red fruits, spices, chocolate, vanilla and cedar, with a touch of mint.
Cabernet-Shiraz Penfolds/Ultra Bin 8 is an ideal wine to enjoy with red meats, lamb, pork, mature cheeses and spicy dishes. It is recommended to serve it at a temperature between 16 and 18 ° C. It can also be stored in good condition for several years, as it has great storage potential.
